Bio:
Devan Kronos was born to a loving family on the planet Coruscant; he was smart, creative, and had great leadership skills. They lived a happy life together in their large penthouse apartment. His parents were both eager help him develop his talents. His mother stayed at home and took care of him while his father, who was a Fleet Analyst for the Galactic Empire specializing in calculating the gravity of the Rebel threat, allowed Devan to learn the basics of tactics at his knee. One day, Devan’s father brought home a piece of work. Though it cost his father a lot of favors, the Empire’s Naval Academy was generous enough to deliver to him on loan a Class I- Fleet simulator used in the Advanced Tactics courses at the academy. Over the years it became like another toy to Devan, although a very expensive one.

By the age of ten, Devan could easily thrash levels that gave Admirals a challenge. But one fateful day his dreams of joining his father in his work were smashed to pieces. A terrible engine failure on the way to a Senate meeting caused his families transport to crash. His father and mother both died in the accident, Devan’s left leg was crushed. It took rescue workers several hours to free Devan and save his life. But he was stuck with the images of his mother and father dying burned into his skull.

His left leg has never fully healed, and he has declined on multiple occasions to have it replaced. Some say he keeps it to remember his parents, others say it’s because it gives him a distinguishing feature, no one really knows. After the crash Devan’s grades and his time in the simulator dwindled, the simulator had been left to Devan by the Empire as payment for his father’s great work to further the cause of the Empire.

A few weeks after the accident, he went to a support rally. That day was the he was privileged enough to see the Emperor in person and was awed by his greatness and was inspired into action. He worked hard in school and redoubled his efforts in the simulator, so the one day he could meet the Emperor again. But it was not to be, shortly after the rally news came of the Emperor's death, so had Lord Vader met his end in the destruction of the second Death Star. He was horrified and devastated, but he was filled with anger at one thing, the rebellion. That day he dedicated himself to serving the Empire and crushing the rebellion, in the hopes of one day becoming the best he could be in service of the Empire. He entered the Imperial Academy early due to his high marks and excelled in all of his classes, he graduated top of his class. By this point in time sadly the Empire at large had fractured into many different groups. Devan ended up joining a faction of the splintered Empire called the New Imperial Federation.

Upon his entrance into the NIF Navy he caught the eye of a very prominent Captain, Kyle Morrison. This Captain took it upon himself to test this new officer. The training mission was a complete success for Devan, much to the surprise of the senior officer who had never seen that scenario beaten. His first mission to a planet called Dorvalla, had tragic results for the crew compliment of the [iApocalypse[/i]. The Captain was almost killed and many of the crew died in the suicidal ramming by two of the enemy ships. Devan battered, bruised and bleeding to death continued to fight until he was finally relieved. He earned a Navy Achievement Award, that day as well as a double promotion to the rank of Lieutenant. This event effected Devan far more than anyone realized, he changed that day, he became colder and more ruthless in battle, when combine with is brilliance it was a deadly combination.

Devan continued to exceed all expectations and was later appointed to be Personal Aide to then-Supreme Commander Ace Roscoe, who later became Emperor Kane I. His assignments varied but he spent much of his time near or close to the Supreme Commander, in turn picking up many things he probably should not have known. His keen awareness of his surroundings made this possible, but Devan, ever the loyal officer, opted to keep his mouth closed and keep the secrets.

It was at this point in his life that Devan first met someone that would eventually become and integral part of his life, Aquila Slyphs. Their first meeting was short, but it spawned more. Devan, always the kind soul, reached out to Aquila who was shy and afraid and made a friend. It was not long after that Fenrir Squadron came under his indirect command. An idea was formed by an acquaintance and Fenrir Squadron was chosen to train for missions, not just in the sky but on the ground as well. They were secret and special missions of vital importance to the Federation. After some time in his job as Aide to the Supreme Commander he moved on to others.

Eventually he was made XO of the now defunct 6th Fleet made up of ships from the Imperial Remnant after the merge. Once Devan’s job of reorganizing the fleet for dispersion into other fleets, he was once again reassigned. He was named to be the Executive Officer of Task Force Annihilation, the primary task force of Second Fleet. It was in this job that another critical element in his life occurred, his friend Aquila Slyphs had been kidnapped by rogue New Republic Intelligence agents. He and a friend Spyker Katarn worked diligently to help get her back. In the end they succeeded, but at the price of catching a glimpse into Aquila’s past. Afterwards, time spent with her revealed to him a second personality hidden inside of her named Tymora, who was a NRI agent. Devan, weary of the pain it would cause Aquila to be interrogated by ISIS again after her return choose to keep the revelation to himself. Protecting Aquila and keeping the hidden personality from causing too much damage. Aquila had been growing to become more and more important to Devan at this point in his life.

Immediately after saving Aquila he was thrust into battle once again, this time against the Renegade New Republic Admiral Pakkt Jen’vey. Over the years Devan has learned that having a side arm is vital to his survival. Though never having personally bought one he does have the three his father left behind. After more recent events it is rare that he goes out without at least a holdout blaster. One of the weapons in his father collection was a very rare Model 22T4 hold-out blaster pistol issued by the Imperial Security Bureau to his father. To this day Imperial records are vague as to why he was even issued one. This weapon had saved Devan’s life on more than one occasion including during this mission.

A Bothan Infiltrator masking as an Imperial Stormtrooper lured Devan away from the bridge and to his officer with the report of an internal security breach. The assassin stabbed Devan Kronos in the back and was about to slit his throat when quick thinking on Devan’s part saved his life. Aiming his still holstered sidearm backwards he fired it into his assassin several times killing him. The damage however had already been done, while surgeons treated Devan they quickly became aware of a poison that had been introduced into his system. Unable to counteract the poison Devan fell into a Coma, it took several days for a member of the Omega Order, Crsytala Endivain to arrive and remove the poison from his body. Shortly after his recovery Devan was promoted to Commodore and placed in Command of Second Fleet.

After the Battle of Bogden, Devan and Aquila attended the Midsummer Imperial Ball together. While they were dancing together Aquila and Devan each admitted their feelings for one another and shared their very first kiss.

Imperial Federation Holonet Gossip: “Devan Kronos, the shining new Commodore of Second Fleet has long been rumored to be in a relationship with a female pilot by the name of Aquila Slyphs. The rumors started a few months back during a rescue mission for the young woman in question and have persisted to this day. The couple attended the Midsummer Imperial Ball together two nights ago; we now have two anonymous sources who have reported to have seen the two kissing at the Ball. With several other sources reporting in we are now ready to call this rumor… Confirmed! So what’s next for the couple? Shared Quarters? Dating? Engagement? We shall see! Next on Federation Gossip!
