The Omega Order

The NIF Omega Order is a religious order, approved, sanctioned and supported by the NIF government.

Initiation

The Head of the Order (Lord Roscoe) will pick an Initiate from a current list of applying candidates when he decides we have the need or room for one.

The candidates may only be Force Sensitives. The player must have at least one character of rank 4 or above. Any Shadow Hand is considered to have fulfilled the rank requirement. It is possible to be both a Freelancer and a Dark Jedi, but said character must still follow the tenets of the Order.

Students will be paired up with a single Master. The Master has the responsibilty for the Student, and the Student must respect and obey the Master, within the limits of the rules and instructions of the Order, as defined by the Council and the Head of the Order. Students may also study under other Masters, or in a group. A Master may have as many students as they wish in order to increase our number.

Killings

Intentionally killing any member of the Order is not allowed. The NIF Dark Jedi Omega Order has never practiced this. This leads to expulsion and execution. The Head of the Order can overrule this rule if considered necessary for internal security.

Intentionally killing NIF personnel or civilians is frowned upon by the Order. Although a Dark Jedi cannot be tried by legal court, this behaviour is potentially ground for expulsion. There are plenty of non-NIF enemies to kill, we do not waste our resources.

Duties

The duty of all NIF Dark Jedi is to carry out the will of the Order as defined by the Head of the Order and the Masters. The NIF is our respected host and should be treated as such.

Organization of the Omega Order

The Omega Order is a hierarchy, where members of lower rank are to follow the commands of those of higher rank.
The goals of the Omega Order are defined as:

• The termination of all enemies to the Order.
• To study the Dark Side of the Force in all its aspects to the utmost of our ability.
• To use the power of the Dark Side to further the goals of the Order and to enhance ourselves.

Dark Jedi Council
Dark Jedi Masters and above may be part of the council, which can decide on the Order's business. They are selected by the Head of the Order, who also has veto right on any decision made, without constraints or time limits. Masters
Dark Jedi Warriors and above are considered proficient enough to take on students. Regardless of actual rank in the Order, they hold the honourary title of Master. They may take on as many students they wish unless the Council or the Head of the Order says otherwise.

Students
All ranks from Initiate up to Dark Jedi Charge.

Lesser Force Sensitives in NIF service
All members of the Order may train these at their leisure as long as it doesn't interfere with their duties.

Going AWOL

If the player goes AWOL, we will if necessary RP that the character went on a journey on
their own. After 30 days or more, we will attempt to contact the player. If there is no
reponse, the character may be killed off.

The method is by roleplaying. The DJ will be considered having gone over to the light
side, and expelled from the Order. They will either be used as a light Jedi blank
character (NPC enemy), or outright killed, by his Master or by his peers. Peers need
approval from either the Master or the Head of the Order (me) before taking action.

If the player informs us in any way that his/her posting will be limited, the character
will be put on ice and be considered studying theory alone or with a blank (NPC) Master.
The character can be played again later. There is no time limit.
